Industrias Beter S.A. ("Beter"), knows that you may be interested in knowing how the personal identification information that you give Beter, such as name, address, telephone or fax numbers and e-mail addresses, etc (“Data”), is used. That is why we have developed a privacy policy (“Policy”) to explain the use of your details, as well as all of the reasonable precautions taken to ensure the confidentiality and security of your Data.

On ordering one of our products and using our services, you authorise the collection of your details and accept the terms of use stated in this Policy, which is modified by us from time to time. We reserve the right to modify the Policy and we urge you to consult it constantly in order to familiarise yourself with any change. Beter only compiles and processes your Data for specific and limited purposes when you wish to use certain services. For example, we may gather and use your information to offer you our products or services, to bill you for the products or services you request, to check your credit, to offer you products or services that we think may be of interest to you, to process your employment application, to receive our press releases or to contact you. Furthermore, we may use your Data to evaluate how effective our services are and improve our visitors and clients experience, for our statistics, in order to evaluate consumer interests as well as purchase tendencies and so forth among our clients and to improve the development of products and marketing strategies. If you are interested in applying for a position published or would like to have access to any future job opportunities at Beter, you can give us your C.V. In this case we will compare your abilities and experience with the position advertised and other current employment opportunities. If your profile suits our requirements, we will get in contact with you. You agree that we may keep your C.V. in our databases for a reasonable period of time. On applying for a job, you authorise the use of your C.V and information to process the job application and to be sent to other companies within the Beter affiliates who have agreed to keep your C.V. and information in a secure and confidential manner, as well as authorising the transmission of said C.V and information abroad. Beter strives to only use your C.V and information in relation to opportunities for employment.


The majority of Data that we obtain from our web sites is anonymous Data. When you visit our web sites, we do not obtain your personal Data, except if you, in full knowledge, specifically and voluntarily provide us with such information. Anonymous Data is processed by Beter in order to improve the contents of our web sites, to adapt our sites to the tastes of our visitors, to get to know our visitors better and the way in which they use our web sites. In order to respect the privacy of children and adhere to laws designed to protect minors, people under 18 years of age must not provide us with their personal Data. Beter will not gather, use or disclose, with first-hand knowledge, the personal Data of individuals under the age of 18 without receiving previous consent from a legal tutor (parent or tutor).
