- A high grit number (280-220) means it's composed of many very small grains, resulting in smoother filing.
- A low grit number (120-180) indicates a coarser texture, recommended for shortening or initial filing.
Tip: File following the natural shape of your nails and always in the same direction.
If you want a square tip, hold the file perpendicular and straight.
If you prefer a rounded or oval finish, angle the file under the free edge of the nails and smooth the corners.
